Eggs - what exactly is the deal? And a quick tomato q too...

I've read lots of conflicting advice about when to introduce eggs. what sort of allergic reactions can they cause? dd has eczema (she's 10 months) can eggs exacerbate this? I have given her eggs a few times in pancakes and scrambled. Once she did seem to have a couple of small hives on her face but I've no idea if they were coincidental.

While we're on allergies, she loves tomatoes but they do tend to make her chin red for a while after eating. Do you think this is a problem?

Watching this thread with interest.
My 10 month dd was okay with egg yoke, but the moment I gave her a whole boiled egg, she broke out in horrible hives. Tried scrambled eggs, and same thing. Was thinking of trying again when a year old ... not sure if this would be the right thing to do.

Re: tomatoes, she won't eat them.
