Small 10 month old, should I cut down on her milk to try and get her to eat more?

My 10 month old daughter weighs about 16 lb and is generally healthy, long and slim. Her feeds are as follows (approx timings):
7 am - 7 oz milk
8 am - breakfast
11 am - 4 oz milk
12.30 - lunch
1.30 - 7 oz milk.
4.00 - 4 oz milk
5.30 - tea
6.30 - 7 oz milk
She is mainly blw fed and enjoys a variety of foods eg sandwiches, banana, bread, pasta, vegetables, but in rather small quantities.

I am thinking of replacing the mid morning and mid afternoon milk feeds with water so she is really hungry at meal times.

Or should I just go with the flow? I would like her to put on more weight if possible, though there's nothing actually wrong with her. What do you think? Can a baby have too much milk?

Go with the flow. She will get there - she's 10 months. If weight is your concern (no real need for it to be at 16lb IMO) then milk is going to provide more calories than most of the foods you mention. I wouldn't restrict milk intake.

my dd2 is also 10 months and 17lb so also small. i would like her to be forward facing in the car but that is purely selfish so i am trying hard not to push it. does she look well covered and healthy? if so i really wouldnt worry too much about it. she will put on the weight in her own time. i looks like you are leaving sensible gaps from milk feeds to solids so just leave her to tell you when she wants to change the balance. i am still breastfeeding largely on demand but it doesnt look so different from your day and my dd2 eats soooo much at each mealtime that i cant understand why she is so little! (apart from is sooo active maybe that is it for you too?). try not to fret sounds like you are doing really well with her.

Thanks both of you. I will go with the flow and try not to worry!

my dd was on more milk than that until 13 mos and then whooosh, her solids intake went skywards and she began to drop bottles. i don't know how much she weighed but she always had lovely little bracelets of fat at her wrists so i thought she must be fine. (btw, keep the baby in a rear-facing seat for as long as poss, much safer).
