BLW - What can't a 6mo eat?

Sorry, I'm being lazy here, and should search for this - but just a quick recap... I kind of remember from my AK days with dc1 that there was food they 'weren't allowed' straight away (or was that just because he was 4mo?).
So, other than honey, salt and KFC - what foods are off limits for a 6mo?

Some parents avoid peanuts if there are allergies in the family.

Most people avoid whole nuts or pieces of nuts - obvious choking hazard.

I would be careful of seafood but only as mil has an allergy.

Cow's milk is fine but not as a main drink and full fat is recommended rather than semi or skimmed.

Really most things are ok from 6 months as far as I know.

I am choosing to give things like eggs (that a few children react to) earlier in the day rather than a first sample in the evening - only because dd1 had a reaction and I am a little more cautious with dd2.

Hooray! I thought I had to stick to fruit and veg...

Phlossie don't just take my word for it though - I am not a professional
but afaik you can give most things.

Apparently tomatoes can trigger an allergic reaction but I gave my 6 month old some pasta with a tom sauce and she was fine. She kind of inhaled the penne down before I had a a chance to think about it really!

Yes I think it can be the same with some citrus too.

I did the same with past Thomcat - dd2 was looking interested so I plonked it on her tray and she wolfed it down. Later I read something on Aitch's blog about tomatoes!

It's so fab - she hasn't taken to pure blw but loves finger foods and if it is something she likes the look of there is no stopping her. If she sees a humzinger stick she starts kicking her legs and opening her mouth ready!

raw tomatoes rather than cooked ones (from experience with DS2) are worse
