3 weeks into weaning. Baby makes lots of noises is normal?

We are doing puree weaning with some finger foods. He seems to to love it he opens mouth for spoon, moves head towards spoon and sometimes holds spoon with hand and eats it himself if I preloaded spoon. He seems to get really excited when he sits in chair for food. However recently he's started making of groaning / growling noises while eating ( similar to I'm having a poo noise) he looks uncomfortable and I think he doesn't want any more but keeps going for spoon amd taking more. Is this normal? I think it happens more if there is slightly more texture in food but I also wounder if its when he doesn't like a flavour?

Sounds pretty normal. If he's happily still eating I'd just keep offering. They're usually pretty good at letting you know when they've had enough Wink

Thank you. He looked at his porridge this morning and birst into tears! So I obviously didn't push it. I think it's teething as he's very grizzly today although he has also done a hudge poo so I wounder if he was just very backed up!
