1 year old still doesn’t eat certain textures / foods

My toddler still refuses certain foods like fruit and veg, we still give him fruit and veg pouches and he will eat fruit and veg in foods “hidden” for example mashed fruit in porridge etc…

He doesn’t eat proper dinners, no pasta, no rice, no spag bowls or proper meals like that.

He likes dry foods and will happily eat anything breaded, toasted etc.

Just getting a bit worried now. He is 14 months.

Does he go to any childcare @pleasehelpagirlout62? If so, what does he eat there?

Can I ask how much milk he has too and which sort of milk?

I’d stop the pouches, he’s not weaning anymore so purées aren’t needed, and just give him his plate of food at mealtimes. Give him what you’re having, but include one thing he will definitely eat. Just give it to him, don’t say anything, and get on with eating your food so he sees you enjoying it.
