Is my toddler still drawing breast milk?

I feel silly asking but it occurred to me that I've no idea if I'm still producing breast milk or not. My toddler is almost two and still has breast milk before bed. She asks for it in the morning too but it's nighttime only since Christmas.

Before Christmas she was getting breast milk maybe 3 or times a night/morning. I could still feel milk, especially if she didn't feed.

Not I don't feel anything and my breasts are back to normal for a long time. It is possible she is looking for the breast as comfort only with no milk?

I plan on passing it out soon anyway but it would be helpful to know about the milk.

If your curious you could try hand expressing and see if anything comes out, but if she's getting comfort from it, it probably doesn't matter either way. I still produced milk until a couple of months after DD weaned at 2.5

If she is feeding daily then yes you are producing milk, just very efficiently on demand.

If she is feeding, you will be producing.

Thanks. I like the idea of it being so efficient I hardly notice.
