What do people recommend? Want to spread on toast as alternative to unsalted butter.

And yes, absolutely full fat. Everything should be full fat for an 8-month-old!

mascarpone is good and as i recall a bit less salty than philly. although dd did eat her own weight in philly before i discovered this, to no ill effects.
