How long between feeds...?

My 6mnth old DS has been taking food for a while now & is loving it. However, he is a bit of a porker (I know this will come off when he starts crawling) - but am I feeding him too often ?
He tends to grouch when he is hungry, which tends to be roughly ever 3hrs - sometimes longer - at which point I usually offer food & milk (twice a day) or just milk for the remainder. He sleeps through and seems fine.

As long as it's not rusks and chocolate pud he'll be fine - 3 hourly sounds Ok for a lo his age. Try offering water if you want to be sure he's hungry? Sometimes water can do if they're thirsty.
