Cow's milk contains a completely different set of nutrients to breast milk or formula, this is why it is not recommended. I used to take care of a cousins baby though and she used to give her pasturised milk before the aga of 1. She was fine.

i should think so as she is 10 months, for a few days, it will be fine.

It's fine to use.

Yes summerfruit. I hope you had a nice holiday.

I ran out of formula when dts were 10 mths and used cows milk and haven't looked back. They were one today and are fine. Changed ds1 over at 11 mths (due to a foreign trip) and he thrived aswell.

Hope you had a good holiday

i gave my ds some formula feeds and some cows milk from 10 months because i gave up bf and he didn't like formula much, and he is the picture of health at 17 mo. A friend of mine just gave her dd cow's milk from 10mo, and actually if you ask anyone of an older generation they will no doubt tell you that they gave cows milk to babies from 6 months - my mum did with us and we are both v healthy too!

my 6.5 mo ds point blankly refuses to drink formula while awake. he can go days refusing to drink if we try formula only, so he has organic full fat cows milk in the day and we sneak in the formula for the night bottle. good thing he muches down a good variety of food in a good quantity.
