Hi,

I saw the HV yesterday and advised i should introduce dairy to the diet of my DS nearly 7 months.

It seems so soon or is it the norm ?

Still breastfeeding and cannot get DS on formula ...

Normal (chap 5 Birth to Five - see below)unless you have a family history of cows milk allergy . In that case it's advisable to leave it until later.

Perfectly normal - my lo's had fromage frais and cheese sauces from around 6 months.

yes I used full fat cows milk on cereal from 6 months too e.g. ready brek and weetabix

Yes - nothing inherently poisonous in drinking cows milk under one; it's just that it's a drink like water not a food like breast milk and so shouldn't replace a "feed".

Yes i would inroduce fromais frais..my DD loves it and add cows milk to food too, they love it.

DS does have eczema but seems ok .. but im slowly adding milk to things and yogurt.

Cheese was also advised to add ..
