I am weaning my DS who is just over five months. Should I be offering him cooled boiled water now?

I offered ds water from a free-flowing lidded beaker (tommee tippee first cup) along with his solids from when I started weaning around 5 1/2 months. From 6 months you can use plain tap water as a drink.

Thanks - I haven't cut back on the breast feeding at all. I had planned to wait for 6 months but he started to wake up around 16 times a night and I was totally desperate so tried a bit of food and he gobbled it up so I figured he was ready.

Yeah, my Dd 6 months has a little water with each platefeed and seems to like it. It hasnt reduced her milk intake at all, so fire ahead i would say!
