Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any advice
my 9month old has gone off her breakfast recently, she used to finish it all and now has bearly half 🥲 she isn’t teething or anything 🧐
she has either porride/readybreak/or weetabix mixed with a fruit purée
need her to have her breakfast as she’s a milk Dodger and only takes formula in cereals now😩

Is she eating well at other times of day? Could she have some porridge or other milk based food later in the day, if so? You could offer her something different in the morning and reduce the pressure of her to eat. No need to keep breakfast food for mornings, if it works better for her to have it at a different time.

How much formula is she having? She probably doesn't need as much as you're thinking? You're aiming for 400 ml a day by the time she's hit 10 months.

@CadyEastman shes roughly having 250ml a day but we have been in touch with a paediatric dietician and she’s assured me she’ll do okay on no formula just to give vitamins but I personally would like her to have it 🙈

Did the Dietitian talk about replacing the fat and protein as well as the calcium?

I'm assuming if your LO has already seen the Dietician and they've looked at what she usually eats and are satisfied with that?

Yeah they were happy with her food intake and more so her weight gain and thriving despite lack of formula, there main concern was creating a oral aversion with continuing on with milk she didn’t want via the bottle
