Just Tastes, or Allow More?

Hi

I'm just looking for a bit of advice/evidence if possible.

So our LO turned 6mnths last week, and we decided to try him with some tasters (so far just the organic pouches from Aldi (the dairy free pouches and fruit purees) expecting him to take a while to take to them.

But he really likes them, and will happily eat half a pouch once or twice a day. My question is, should we just limit him to tastes still or let him have what he wants?

I couldn't find any firm evidence either way 😫

Thanks for that @AvaMiller

I guess my concern is, can it do any harm by letting have more?🤔

He's been a bit sickly the last 24hrs but after his milk, not the food. And he is a bit mucousy and coughing so I think that's that rather than the food.
