11 month old not interested in his milk

Baby is doing really well on solids, 3 meals a day. Last month or so has started to cut back his milk. We offer 4 bottles a day and sometimes he only has 1-3oz a bottle. Night time he usually will have 5-7oz so that’s something. I heard the should have around 20oz a day but he has about 12-15oz a day. I’m assuming this is normal but I’m unsure wether to hold back on solids or just roll with it, he is about 5 weeks off turning a year old.

2 of mine had given up milk by 12 months, 1 bottle and 1 breast fed.

Other 3 were addicts!

I would deffo role with it!!

I'm pretty sure my little one was having just a morning and evening bottle at 11 months (about 7oz in each)

I think as long as they are getting plenty of foods like cheese and yoghurts ect it's not a problem Smile and like you say they are eating really well!!

From 10 months it's 400 mls that's advised and then at 1 year It's 300/350mls. This is inclusive of milk in cereal and dairy products so doesn't all need to be in the form of a drink

@dementedpixie @lauren8910 Thank you! He loves his cheese, yogurts, custards etc also I put milk In his cereals

He is thriving, 75th centile for weight so I know he is doing well and I shouldn’t worry

11 months should be having roughly 13.5 Floz a day. I'd drop at least one bottle. By 12 months he only needs 10 Floz of full fat cow's milk a day Wink
