6 month won't take anything savoury

I started weaning 6 month old at 17 weeks with fruit and veg and have now introduced meat at 6 months. The problem is that now baby refuses anything savoury and will only eat Petit Filous Fromage Frais and sweet fruit. Turns nose up at Savoury.

I have been slaving in the kitchen preparing loads of Annabel Karmel receipes and freezing them and baby won't touch them. Just cries and hardly opens mouth, yet if I offer something sweet I can't get the spoon iin quick enough.

Any suggestions off anybody who has been through this?

Why are feeding him/her crap like Petits Filous which is full of sweeteners and thickeners?

Forget Annabel Karmel too.,Waste of bloody time.Let him just have a bit of what you are having.babies don't need special food. The only people who say there do are people who want to part you from your hard earned cash.

Perservere with savouries otheriwse you really will have food problems.

Each part of the tongue is attracted to sweet, sour, tart and if you google I am sure you will fine which bit.

The child has obvious learnt that if they make enough fuss they will get pudding. Wouldn't you rather eat pudding than meat?

You can mix fruit and veg together in the same meal if you want. Banana and avocado is good.
