Bl**dy free Annabel K measuring spoons might be useful if I could separate them -- but how?

Got 'em free at Boots with other purchase but actually, we do need new measuring spoons as our old ones are cracked plastic. But the AK ones are linked by a metal wire that appears to have no latch to remove it. So every time we use one spoon for baby rice or whatever, we have to wash up the whole bunch of five (we have no dishwasher). It is not the world's biggest problem but is massively annoying in a small way .

Anyone else got these and managed to take 'em off the wire ring?

Cut the wire?

posieflump, I know, but I do also use them for baking and stuff where you really need to measure properly ... normal spoon no use.

Suppose I need wire cutters or something but it seems stupid to sell them so firmly joined that people cannot take them apart without a heavy-duty tool. Most measuring spoons are sold on a ring but easy to take off.

Should have known, all the AK stuff from Boots is a bit crap anyway ...
