7.5 month old - suddenly vomiting after solids

Hello everyone!

My daughter is 7.5 months old and has been doing amazingly with her weaning. Eats everything, loves combinations, now on mashed food and will try with some finger foods. To be honest, I've been really amazed with how well its gone so far.

Two days ago, we gave some shop bought baby food (probably only the third time I've done this). She silently gagged and projectile vomited. Didn't think anything of it.

Then yesterday she had a shop bought one for breakfast and was fine! Then for dinner a shop bought one and projectile vomiting after gagging.

Then this morning, had her fruit pouch, all is fine and then half an hour later projectile vomits again after a cough.

We are away from home which is why she is not having her usual home made food which she was doing well on. She is still taking in milk and not vomiting afterwards. She is cows milk intolerant so everything is dairy free. I checked the ingredients and all the meals had compleltly different ingredients so don't think it is an allergy. She will have cold food for breakfast.

I'm not feeding her anymore solids until we get home tomorrow. Has anyone else experienced this? She is fine within herself and I am just anxious something is wrong!

Thank you in advance!

If she fine in herself, playing, I’d not worry. Sometimes the change in food can upset them.

My daughter had strong gag reflux and was often sick during meals when little. But if violently sick several hours after eating, look up FPIES
