I have loads of potatoes in the fridge.

Whats a healthy baby meal we can have together using them up? I have done mash to death.

Cottage/shepherd's pie, roasted potatoes?

Homemade wedges or fries. I just add a little olive oil, rosemary or paprika and oven bake for 30-40 mins (depending on size)

Oh that sounds good, i have paprika in cupboard. Would you serve them with carrot sticks? Or a dip?

Leek and potato soup, with feta cheese cubes and toast.

Probably a dip. For babies : sour cream/ chives, homemade guacamole, yogurt tzatziki, etc. just put on plate with whatever you have in fridge, ie bit of grate cheese, cucumber. My fussy toddler actually really likes those vacuum packs of fresh beetroot I slice as salad with stuff like wedges

— Cottage, shepherds or fish pie - that’s usually mash again but you could do finely sliced potatoes on top instead if you wanted.

—Leek and potato soup
—Potato cakes/ fritters with poached egg

Don’t add the extra salt until you’ve taken baby’s portion out use the low-salt stock if you feel happier with that.

Just check baby’s portion of fish for bones and squish down the potatoes and tomatoes a bit for them.

These fish cakes will help to use up the potatoes but are also a good way of getting some oily fish into her Wink

I use left over meat/veg and roll it onto balls with potato!
salmon potato balls, mince and potato balls, cheesy veg and potato balls, etc etc. just pop them in the air fryer for 5 minutes lol.
Soemtimes even roll left over cottage pie into balls just to make it something different 😂

That sounds delicious! I would enjoy that, today i am slowcooking excess potatoes with veg and lentils to blend into soup 😂 i always have loads of potatoes (its cheaper to buy a big bag then individually)
