Weaning

Iv started weaning my 6month old and now he dosent want his formula milk. Tried abit of formular First them baby rice, now all he wants is solids and no baby milk keeps turning his head and crying at the bottle. I understand they need formula as their main meals still, Can anyone help?

Have you tried

• reducing the frequency that you offer a bottle
• waiting until he indicates he wants one

Is he eating a range of solid foods or is it just baby rice?

He has tried baby rice, fruit purée & bananas not found anything he dosent like yet. Just seams to have gone off his milk now. I wondered if the solids are making him full and that’s why he dosent want the bottle but I give abit of solids then try the milk and he just wants the solids.
