Tips on weaning

Hello! Can anyone give me tips on how to actually start weaning. Like when to feed etc? My little boy will hit 6 months in 2 weeks and I'm nervous about starting it. I would like to do a mix of puree and BLW. I'm petrified of choking so blw does look daunting to me but I've heard good things

I personally think it’s easiest to start with breakfast since you’re always at home and it requires the least thought as a lot of everyday basic breakfast foods are great for weaning e.g. porridge (ready brek for ultimate ease), weetabix, fingers of toast, greek yoghurt with some fruit puree, banana either mashed amor cut into slices, omelette cut into strips.

Also read up on gagging which is very normal and how it’s different to choking. It might help put your mind at ease.
