Can anyone recommend a fortified baby cereal suitable from 26 weeks? I'll happily do Weetabix too but was hoping I could fins something with lots of iron or probiotics

Babies don’t need a fortified cereal….why waste your money?

Or is it a trendy thing to do at the moement ? 🤔

From 6 months you can give them most normal foods, I’d serve the cereal with either expressed milk or formula depending on which you usually use and that will be very nutrient rich. I’d stick with low sugar cereals eg weetabix and porridge.

Hm I don't think I ever fed mine "baby cereal". Is that processed?

What about whole rolled oats? We cooked them into a lovely milky porridge with a bit of banana mashed in.

My little boy loves shreddies with warm milk

Ready brek is fortified and a really smooth texture. I just mix it with some warm milk.

Just wanted to say that you can use formula of you want to but from 6 months you can use full fat cows milk in cereal and cooking and it's absolutely fine Wink
