We started weaning about 3-4 weeks ago (at 5 1/2 months) everything went brilliantly to start with in that she loved any of the pureed veg I put before her. Then she was ill and I was ill and DH decided to feed her banana which she loved however now she won't eat anything that is not sweet. Any suggestions? HV said only give savoury and if she not eat then take away and not offer anything else, and the last thing I want is a "fussy" eater but it does seem a bit mean. I tried some Annabel Karmel recipe's the other day which she liked at first but second time around wasn't interested.

mix sweet and savoury foods together and gradually change the ratio so that it ends up savoury iyswim. Don't be put off by wierd combos either.

I will give it a go, thank you. She tried to take a biscuit out of my hand earlier so she must be hungry.
