some books say dont give protein for dinner till 8 months...why?

did it last might but lo vomited after though am sure nothing to do with protein - but....could be

he vomited when face down and woke up very frightened all covered on hair eyes mouth and ears with vomit..very scared for a long while...

Sounds ridiculous. No reason why a baby old enough to have solid food can't have protein as far as I know.

It's horrible to have a vomity baby, and hope he's ok, now.
