Well that's the last time "I" will puree anything for DS3 to eat.......

I've been doing BLW/spoonfeeding "normal" (ie not mashed or pureed) food with DS3 who's now 9 months.

H convinced this method doesn't work so last night he decided to puree his dinner for him - and he ate it. I decided tonight as a trial to puree his dinner and see what happens (figured that as he's teething - first tooth appeared today and I don't think the one next to it is far behind -that he may be more comfortable with it).

OMG what a disaster. First spoon -ok. 2nd spoon opened wide ok and took it no problems, but then he gagged, then he appeared to be choking, then he starts crying and gagging looking like he wants to be sick but can't. He's now on my knee screaming after having vomitted up lots of phlegm and what little dinner I did get down hm. Think if I'd given him a bottle in the last hour or so that would have come up too........

ARGHHH - no more pureeing or mashing for me - if it works for H - fine he can do it but I'm not going anywhere near that blender again when it comes to DS3's food.
