Gecko has eaten chilli, curry, chinese noodles, fuit of lotsof kkinds, veg of all sorts,
she feeds herself, lasagne, spag bol, tatties and veg, tons of things
I am very happy with her range of food she has tried but I'm completely panicking about grapes
dd2 loves as do I and I reckon gecko qwould too btu I've never let her have one

can I?
she is 13 months, she rarely gags on anything she eats now

do I peel them or quarter them or just ha;ve them or is she too young
Is it the shape thast the choking hazard? I.e very round or the skin being weird?

Hey TR - DD eats grapes (and has done since younger than princess-gecko-blanket) - just cut them in half/quarters.

Though I see that you ahve already done that.

That is a good idea Aitch, I think I will start doing that.

I've been eighthing grapes when giving them to mine ever since he managed to stick a quarter grape to the top of his palate (skin side towards the skin). Took us an hour before we managed to spot it and scrape it out - he retched a lot luckily each time he tried his milk feed before bed else he'd have gone to sleep with it in! Scared the cr*p out of us, but he does love his grapes so does still get them!

(he also did the same with a bit of bagel early on, so it could just be a special knack of his rather than an actual risk, lol)
