I only started on Saturday and he had broccoli then potato, carrot and cauliflower yesterday. The first couple days he had an extra couple stools instead of the usual one but last night he went 7 times! And it had bits of green in. I rung the gp who annoyingly said ask hv about weaning advice. I’ve just missed a voicemail from her and she said as he hasn’t got a temp and seems well in himself not to worry and to offer more bulking foods than just veg but I don’t really know what she means ? He is also teething I think if that makes a difference. Any advice appreciated

just their gut getting used to food ,your gonna have some fun nappys for a while .Mix a bit of ellas prunes with ready brek if they get constipated

Just think of what you would eat so when i weaned mine

breakfast

dried cereal in a bowl, easy to grab. Two kinds of chopped fruit and a sippy cup of baby milk

lunch

2 kinds chopped veg, carb ,protein ,dairy ,1 fruit

so this would be chopped cooked beetroot ,tomato's ,cous cous, chopped sandwich ham or prawns, cheese and a chopped strawberry

dinner

what ever were eating just no salt so bolenase ,cottage pie, stew,

Just increase variety and their bowel movements will sort them selves in time

heres some examples

Thank you that was very helpful. Especially the pics , and what a gorgeous LO you have. He’s only had one stool today and last night so hopefully that’s slowed down. Still crazy colour though 😂
