Just a quick one , So it says to offer sips of water with meals. Is this straight from the tap and cold ? Not boiled and cooled down. How do I get him to take water?

thank you sorry if I sound silly ( ftm)

I always offered tap water in a sippy cup, but to be honest there wasn't much drinking going on. I suppose because I was still BF they were getting water that way anyway...

Thank you , he’s still bf too so it isn’t too problematic if he doesn’t take the water?

If you're in the uk tap water is fine from 6 months.

And yes, you just offer it, as in our a cup of water in front of him. It's up to him if he picks it up and drinks, really don't stress if he doesn't Wink

We offered her a sippy cup with meals and helped her initially as it took her awhile to pick it up herself. I wouldn’t worry too much about it initially but once food intake increases they can get constipated if they don’t have enough water. Depends on what foods they are eating as well as some have more liquid content than others.

Thank you all 😊 third day of weaning and he’s now more interested in drinking the water than the food aha
