I moved mine to their own rooms around 14 months and that did cut down on night feeds.

Personally I don't think I'd bother trying to introduce a dummy or a bottle now, it seems a bit pointless as they should be off bottles by 12 months anyway.

I know that some people have success with the Dr Jay Gordon Method but like with all night weaning & sleep training, I think it's only recommended when they are well.

And as for the TTC, I'd get on with that now, you don't have to wait for for first AF Wink

You can get pregnant while breastfeeding.

We bought books eg booby moon (and just read up until the night weaning bit) and were really clear about what would happen. Then I fed to sleep and if he woke again my husband resettled throughout the night by rocking. Took a few days but he accepted it. Took 2 years for my period to return but then fell pregnant quite quickly. Continued to feed during the day when pregnant although gradually reduced as it became painful. I still feed to sleep which is now the only feed he has.
