Teething and refusing food and milk

DS is 7 months and cut his bottom two teeth a month or so ago. Now his top 2 are coming through he has gone totally off food. This is a baby who literally eats anything and everything usually, 3 meals a day and snacks! Since he’s been weaned he doesn’t want milk as much but I usually manage to get the recommended amount down him. Past few days he is screaming whenever the bottle goes in his mouth, one day he only had 12oz total! Barely wants food, usually as soon as he sees it his legs and arms are flapping and mouth wide open but at the moment nothing. I’m concerned he must be so hungry! Any tips???? How long will it take for him to go back to normal?

It shouldn't take long to get back to normal. Try him with ibuprofen as it's much better for dental pain than paracetamol. A teething gel like Dentinox and a clean, cool, damp flannel to chew on. I've heard some MNers give a frozen banana but I've never tried that one.
