What foods are best in order to boost my ds's calorie intake?

milk is the primary source of nutrition for the first year, food is for fun! getting used to new tastes and textures is good, there is no need to get a baby on 3 meals a day within days or weeks of starting weaning... a few spoons of pureed apple is not going to have as many calories, purely due to volume, that a good milk feed contains.. children can manage without food for a wee while, as long as having milk / fluids

try propping up the cot so the mucus can drain easier at night

In answer to your question re: which foods have a high calorie intake.
My dd was off the centiles in weight and was advised to give carbohydrates and full fat cream. She's now back on the centiles (although on the lowest centile).
BTW - when I had trouble TTC, the consultant told me that one of the problems was that I was underweight - I was advised to fatten up by eating full fat cream and extra carbohydrates as opposed to snacking on fruit.

Thanks
Problem is he shouts at me, even after a big-ish meal because he loves food so much! Sadly for his weight and my carpet his tiny tummy doesn't always agree!
