Hi
My DS is 7 months old and usually has breakfast after morning bottle and dinner around 4.30/5ish.

However today due to timings of baby classes/seeing family/milk/naps he’s not had any food. Is this okay? I’m feeling really bad about it but he’ll be going to bed soon and I don’t want to be feeding him food now.

Thanks!

It's fine. He may want extra milk but the food he has now if for learning how to eat rather than for nourishment.

As a one off at 7mo no, not a problem.

There will come an age when he doesn't LET you skip a meal, or he'll let you know about it Grin

Thank you! I did think it’ll be okay as a one off - it’s just been one of those days where one social outing ended and another started! 😴

He seems happy and content and not like he wants any food to eat so we’ll just carry on as normal tomorrow with breakfast and dinner, panic over!
