its only goy a bit of bacon in the sauce or is bacon a nono because its salty

IIRC anything but shellfish (see yr other thread) and honey is OK beyond 6 mo.

Keep it simple tho - ie don't suddenly introduce this panoply of flavours if she's never had chicken before on its own.

In my opinion a bit of bacon won't do any harm as long as you're checking how much salt she has the rest of the day/week. Sounds nice!
