Does he seem genuinely hungry ? Or is he just snacking for comfort ?

My daughter woke up a couple of times a night until she was 8 1/2 months old. She then suddenly started sleeping through.
My HV had told me to stop feeding, not pick her up etc but I ignored that and just waited until she was ready to sleep through.

I don't think 7 months is the sort of age by which you should be expecting your baby to sleep through. Some do and some don't but ignoring what he wants will just send him the message that you don't care, surely? A lot of babies don't sleep through until they are much older than this.

my dd was sleeping through from 8pm to 6am from 6 weeks but recently has started waking every 2 hours or so? she is now 6months.

i have started weaning her too about 3 weeks ago so not sure if its that or teething

any comments/advice??

Oh this is exactly what I wanted to ask. My 8 month old used to sleep through all night until 6 months-ishh and now has gone from regualrly waking up for one feed to feeding frequently through the night. I find these comments very reassuring. So its not just me! Have banished DH to spare room temporarily while me and DD co-sleep. Hoepfully won't be for long?!?
