7 month old feeding and sleep

Hi,

Please can anyone offer me some advice. It's really on two thinga so sorry for the long post!

My daughter is 7 months old next week. We started weaning at about 5 and a half months (as she has reflux). We started with single veg and fruit then began mixing them. We then added breakfast and now she eats some lunch as well. She loves food and will eat most things.

Current schedule roughly:

7.30am - 6oz bottle
9.00/9.30am - breakfast
11.00/11.30am - 6oz bottle
Between 12.30 and 1.30pm - lunch
2.00/2.30pm - 6oz bottle
Between 4.00 and 5.00pm - tea
5.30 ish - 6oz bottle
7.45pm - 6oz bottle
8.00/8.30pm - bed

I feel like all i ever do is feed her and hold her upright (to help with reflux) when all she wants to do is play. By the time i do put her down to play it's food time again and we never seem to go anywhere or do anything.
She will usually drink most of the bottle (even if she doesn't seem hungry) but is quite often sick (sometimes milk sometimes food) and I'm not sure if this is because she is eating too much or the reflux 🙄 i started reducing the day bottles to 4 or 5oz and am wondering if i should change to 4 6oz bottles a day???

My other issue is she use to wake for a bottle in the night but fall to sleep drinking (so i felt it was more for comfort as she was use to falling asleep on someone due to reflux and being held upright). I cut the night feed out about 3 weeks ago, reduced it from 6oz to 4oz then nothing (as some nights she wasn't waking for it so again i do not think she was hungry) and for a couple of weeks she slept through (or if she did wake would settle quite quickly). Now however, she is wide awake most nights for sometimes 2/3 hours. Again i dont think she is hungry as she stops whinging if someone goes to shh her and most mornings doesnt drink all her first bottle. Anyone have any advice for this??

Apologies again for the long post!

When you first start weaning I think it's pretty normal to feel like you do nothing but feed and get them to sleep, you've got the added problem of the reflux.

Have you ever found out the cause of the reflux? Is she on a comfort milk?

And if you're feeling like you can't get out, can you take food that's portable? I also won't matter if she misses a meal. Weaning isn't linear and they often have starts and stops due to illness anyway.

If she's waking for that much in the night, I'd be tempted to reintroduce a night feed. She's so young still and it's not really recommend to drop night feeds, unless the baby does it naturally, until 12 months.
