My baby has actually liked pureed foods (I started at 5 1/2 months) and now when I offer her any she just starts to gag and throws up all over the place. It's damn frustrating. I've tried different foods. Pumpkin, potatoes, apple, banana, strawberries.
I also tried to give her soft cooked food.
Do you have any ideas?
I've tried to feed her in my arms, high chair. Nothing helps...

Give her finger food and allow her to regulate her own intake. She'll get there.

Sounds like she might have been put off a bit, maybe by a flavour or something she didn’t like. Don’t worry about it too much, just keep trying. My daughter has been having finger foods and purées since 5.5 months but never ate much and some days wanted more/less. She’s now 9 months and is only just eating reliably. It literally just clicked one day and now she eats three meals a day

If you put finger foods in front of her, on the tray, does she pick them up and put them to her mouth?

She makes a disgusted face

Sounds as though she simply might not be ready yet @Helena1993

I'd keep offering the finger foods, literally just put them in front of her and leave it up to her if she eats them or not. Just get on with your meal and clear away when you've finished Wink
