I saw one on Saturday and boy, oh, boy it's foul.

Flimsy.

And the orange bit feels all yick.

Stick with your Ikea one and think of the money you saved

Oh I love it, it's so Space Odyssey

Check out THIS one, it's even more expensive - and the best bit - it's French and called Mozze!

hunkermunker · 30/01/2008 23:24

It looks OK on the page, but to use - would be utterly impractical. You're as good at going to bed as I am, Rabbity one

The one you linked to - wouldn't the backs of their legs get sore from dangling over the curve? V shiny though!

£197.50 for a ball shaped pouf!

I know, I know...

fingerwoman · 30/01/2008 23:29

what is the one that aitch loves? i need to see it now

yummylittlelapin · 30/01/2008 23:31

oh yes I saw them in the shop here
a mere $900 or something obscene

just for your baby to look like a demented Humpty Dumpty in a flourescent egg

fingerwoman · 30/01/2008 23:41

it's slightly bizarre. look even worse with banana mashed into the straps as well

AitchTwoOh · 31/01/2008 10:47

oooh i like your one too, lapin. if you were weaning your child in a cocktail bar it would be perfect. (although i think the circulation might be cut off to their little legs, the poor things).

i'm cross with ikea, they're out of stock of the long-legged toddler chairs and have been for ages and poor dd is having to be folded into the antilop...

MamaG · 31/01/2008 10:50

oh they're so cool though aren't they

I do like the ball pouf thing though

AitchTwoOh · 31/01/2008 10:53

my view on ikea is changing, the lovely Serenity works there and has checked the stock in her shop and is now offering to buy one for me and send it up for me, isn't that LOVELY of her? whatever it costs in postage, it's cheaper than dd's future chiropractic bills. round of applause for serenty, if you please...

hunkermunker · 31/01/2008 10:54

I love Ikea as well.

(I found the T-shirt this morning, Aitch - there's a chance you'll get it before DD's three now... )

Hey Serenity, if you see this, those ghost nightlights are FAB, I got DS the blue one and he loves it to bit, and cuddles it! I may have to nip back and get the others.

I saw a similar thing yesterday - animals not ghosts, but the same rechargeable cool touch thing - £23!

AitchTwoOh · 31/01/2008 16:11

we have the blue one as well, they are great i think.

twelveyeargap · 31/01/2008 16:13

I was given a second hand Mozze by my cousin. It's pants. The baby (even my 8 month old) sits so low and hunched in that the tray is up at her eyes.

Tried it once and went out to buy a Trip Trap. (In green, since we're talking colours here. )

AitchTwoOh · 31/01/2008 16:15

gosh, if you want to sell it and live in glasgow...

serenity · 31/01/2008 16:20

thanks

The ghost lights are pretty cool, very grabbable.

hunkermunker · 31/01/2008 16:24

I love those lights. We have three blue ones (one for me, one for DH, one for DS2) and a red one for DS1. DS1 wants a green one now

They're brilliant - I leave one on the stairs if DH is out or staying up later than me, so he can come to bed without putting lights on.

Fab for going to children in the night too.

DS2 makes his say, "Hello, Mummy, hello, DS2" in a squeaky voice and chooses whether to cuddle it or plug it in at bedtime.

PMSL at getting "a second hand Mozze"

twelveyeargap · 31/01/2008 16:36

Was given a cast-off Stokke cot by same person, Bill Amberg bouncer and baby carrier and another Stokke cot on the way for baby 3.

The advantages of having wealthy rellies!

AitchTwoOh · 31/01/2008 16:37

pmslat her choices, though... [snooty]

twelveyeargap · 31/01/2008 16:37
Grin
yummylittlelapin · 31/01/2008 16:59

OH I am at the Stokke cot, I really wanted one

And oooooh at the Bill Amberg bouncer!

kindersurprise · 31/01/2008 20:39

Well done, Serenity. Can we nominate you for Employee of the Month or something?

We have the ghosty lights too. They are fab.
