What to buy for weaning?

I’m planning to check the Black Friday and pre Xmas sales for weaning supplies. Any recommendations on what to buy and which brands are good for tableware, cutlery, cups etc.

So far I’ve brought some Bibados only. We have StokkeTripp Trapp and will be buying the high chair conversion.

I plan to do mostly BLW but might include some puréed food initially. Do I need to buy anything for this? I already brought a hand blender which I was going to buy anyway. I don’t have a steamer - is it OK to bake or boil food for purée and BLW?

All you need is a stick blender, I never steamed anything. We had the tripp trapps and had the trays for the table, they were useful.

Get some long sleeved bibs and some little containers to freeze portions, poundland used to do them. You don't need much else.

I think you'll be fond with what you've got now @trrk Wink
