How much milk should a year-old have?

Mine will be one in three weeks time. She still has four bottles a day x 6oz each. Loves them.

She eats breakfast, lunch and a small tea. Not great on the finger foods, gags a lot, only has one tooth!

Should I be cutting back on the milk?

I am sure at that age that at least a pint a day is recommended so sounds as though you are doing fine. I would try and get rid of bottles though and change to lidded cups/beakers.

Ds was having 3 bottles a day at this age, but they were 9oz bottles. As long as she is eating well I wouldn't worry, just cut back slowly an ounce at a time.

I was told a pint a day but this can made up of a variety of dairy products. A chunk of cheese or 2 small yougurts = quarter of a pint. HTH
