Ive been giving my ds filtered water rather than tap water as a cold drink, but someoene said today that it isnt recommended for babies. has anyone else heard this? is it ok to give it to them straight from the filer jug or should it be boiled first?

I've always given DS water from our brita jug as our tap water can taste of clorine - he's 20mts and seems ok on it - I hadn't heard anything about filtered water but I did hear that when they are very young some bottled waters have too high a mineral contenet. I did give him boiled water at first put probably stopped around six mths when I stopped steralising all his feeding stuff - hope this helps.
