My 11 month old is doing realy well with his weaning ( not so much the water drinking, that gets spat out like a boxer)and will happily eat about 3 good size cubes worth- its us that stops when its all gone rather than him showing signs of being full.

My question is do I need to think about decreasing his milk so as not to overfeed him? He currently has 4 6oz bottles a day.

Thanks

they should have a minimum of 20oz per day till 1 year and then the minimum drops to around 12oz. You could try substituting a snack and drink of water for 1 of the day milk feeds if you think your lo needs to drop their milk. (my ds was down to 2 feeds by then).

The alternative is to offer more solids and then his milk should naturally decrease anyway (although he isnt having excessive amounts of milk to begin with)
