Or is it ok for them to eat the skin of these fruits?

I found that the skin can lead to choking.

My son is 15 months old and I still peel pears and apples for him.

PeachesMcLean · 22/01/2008 23:32

Ouch!

fingerwoman · 22/01/2008 23:36

mine has always eaten them skin and all

itsahardknocklife · 22/01/2008 23:40

I might try leaving the skin on tomorrow then.

ruddynorah · 23/01/2008 12:20

mine always had skin on. not apple though. didn't have apple until she was 1, and then she had it whole, not peeled or sliced. she's 20 months now and she eats her apple and leaves most of the skin aside. she eats the core though

I'll try skin on with pear and see how it goes. Thanks!
