my ds2 is 22 weeks and we have just started weaning. Have been told not to give meat/poultry until 26 weeks but can i give fish, rice and pasta and if yes, any good recipes please. I puree everything now (that i should be) and he loves it all but now looking at doing a bit more for him. I am totally new at this as ds1 lived on jars but ds2 hasnt tasted one yet - would like to keep it that way

wouldn't worry about recipes if i were doing it.

that's once you are a sophisticate and have been eating for years.

make it easy on yourself!

CODA and WHO have info on weaning. six months think you can wheat (so pasta). Rice is fine anyway (i think). fish...not so sure. woudl go for banana and veg for lonnng timee.

they are just little monkeys first of all - not little adults - so vegetarian stuff and milk and lentils all fine. and fruit.

If you are cooking something MORE EXOTIC bung some my way as I love good food and I'm appalling at the old joanna (or whatever taht thing is called that you heat up those whatyamacallits on)

rice would be ok now but I wouldnt do pasta (contains gluten) or fish till 6 months.
