Food ideas?

My baby is 8 month old, he's been having breakfast and tea, I've just been getting those baby jars with some finger food snacks. I'm going to introduce lunch as well now, he had some toast the other day and ate it all, can he start eating normal foods now with me traditionally weaning him? What do you give your babies at lunch time I just don't have a clue what to make everyday because I don't want him to just live off the same thing! ❤️

I just gave DC anything we had, we just didn’t add salt and used salt free stock cubes in anything we cooked, we added salt to ours at the table if it needed any. E,g If we had chicken casserole for dinner then he could have it for lunch the next day, mashed with extra gravy. spag bol, curry, lasagne - whatever you cook really is fine. If you want separate ideas there are some recipes here

Yeah from 6 months when I started weaning my son I pretty much just cracked on and gave him whatever we were having minus salt and no honey until 12 months.

Specific lunch ideas though:

Omelette/frittata
Tuna croquettes (great way to use up leftover mashed potato)
Crumpets/toast with scrambled eggs, cream cheese, avocado, peanut butter, mushrooms etc
Savoury muffins
Pitta bread and hummus
Savoury pancakes
Pasta salad
Quesadillas (can use leftover chicken or chilli as a filling)
Homemade mini pizzas
