twins who won't eat lumps

my 10 month old twins are not interested in finger food or lumps yet. They eat most things - lots of fruit and veg, fish, chicken, beef, etc but I still have to blend everything. I have tried them on bits of bread, fruit but they either gag or don't want it. I probably shouldn't worry but I'd like to know how to advance them. thanks.

do you eat with them? i always remember on that robert winston programme the twins were tricky eaters and it turned out to have been that the mum didn't eat with them so they kinda didn't know what to do. she didn't eat with them, i should add, because she was blardy knackered and wanted a cuppa... but it did help when she sat down with them.
