16 month old gone off fruit?

My little boy used to eat a good range of fruit - bananas, raspberries, strawberries, kiwi, peach, etc.

However over the past couple of weeks he refuses pretty much all fruits (except raspberries).

Could this just be a phase and I keep offering it even if he won't eat it? Or should I be doing something to get him to eat it?

He used to have banana as his afternoon snack some days, but now won't even take a bite!

What do you do if he refuses @eatsleeprepeat123? I'd be tempted to assume he's not hungry if he's refusing something.

My DS did similar when he was about that age. I just kept on offering, modelling eating and keeping the pressure off for him to eat it. I took a bite and mentioned something about the food like 'the strawberry is sweet' or 'the apple is crunchy' but didn't encourage him to eat it himself. One day he just started eating fruit again, it's very strange but also very normal. Just offer smaller amounts to reduce waste - I ended up eating a lot of fruit when he went through this phase!
