how do you know if you have burnt lo mouth/lip??

during weaning these days lips gone red/sore but could be sharp nails

no crying during feeding and food was lukewarm in my mouth

perhaps too hot for lo??

I think your lo would have let you know if the food was too hot/he had been burned (by crying/making a horrifed face, etc).

What sort of food did you give? - could it be a reaction to the food itself?, or are his lips chapped from being out in the cold or has he scratched himself?
