My 8 month old suddenly not wanting food

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has similar problems. My 8 month was doing really well eating aolids but for the past 3 days she's not been wanting any good. She'll either push my hand away or clamp her mouth shut and whine. She's still being breastfed and she'll happily have that and is drinking water.

It's starting to worry me as she needs more than just breast milk!

At this age, I really wouldn't worry. She's getting what she needs from BM.

I noticed my daughters intake waxed and waned for months. It's only now, at 13 months, does she eat what I would call a significant amount and her milk intake has been drastically reduced. Panic not!

Plus, another thing to mention, they self regulate over 7 days. So she may not eat over the next few days, but will make up for it the few days after that and so forth.

Has she got any teeth coming through @Shewolf90?

Not that I can tell no. She's actually had a bit to eat today not kuchen but has eaten.

I always think that they do it to try and throw you, little sods! Grin

It might help if you try and look at what they eat over a week rather than a meal or a day. Both of mine were very good at eating lots some days then appearing to survive on fresh air on other days Smile

It will be teeth. It probably hurts a bit to chew or have a spoon in her mouth. Just keep offering and switch it up to something cool and soft.
