water drink for 6 month old, should i be giving boiled and cooled?

or tap?

also i just give this with food but should i be offering it all the time?

If you're weaning then you can offer water and it should be boiled and cooled up to 12 months. I didn't bother boiling it with DD2, she's had tap water from 6 months but I'm lazy.

I always offered it with food and in between if they seem thirsty or are getting constipated.

tap water as a drink is fine from 6 months and I only offered ds some with his meals as he still had all his milk feeds. water should still be boiled for formula till 1 year.
