Really lacking inspiration and feeling quite overwhelmed by weaning so was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for breakfast/lunch/dinner/etc?

Weetabix or porridge have always been popular breakfasts for my children. If you don’t want to give what you are having for lunch or dinner, I recommend freezing a small amount of pasta sauce so you can quickly do a meal that way.

Have a look at "What Mummy Makes" on Amazon :)

I’ve weaned both of mine by offering what I was eating, when I was eating, if they were awake. So if I was having some toast for breakfast I’d give them some, might smush on something interesting for them. If we were having stir fry for tea I’d offer that. I just cut stuff up to the right size for their age/development and wanged it on their tray. Oh and I don’t cook with salt anyway by I was mindful of it in sauces.

If you eat a relatively healthy, balanced diet yourself you can just offer them some of what you have. Otherwise good finger foods we found were:

-Porridge slices (basically porridge made up more dry than normal and microwaved until set- there are recipes online)
-Omelette/frittata slices
-Vegetable fritters
-Eggy bread
-Pasta
-Savoury muffins

Served with fruit and veg.
