Am MNetting crazy this morning in the hope of a more inspirational food day for DD.
She is a little over 6 months and we started a mix of BLW and pureeing at about 5 and a half months. At first DD would eat purees - now only finger food, whch is not a prob as this is what we wanted anyway.
So... so far she has had lots of diff fruit and veg, but she doesn't really do much damage to them. Lots of exploration and sucking. My question is... when do I move on to dairy / other food groups and what would you suggest next? I think I am almost waiting until she completely devours all fruit/veg before trying something different. Is this wrong? She will probably be about 30 when this happens at the rate we are progressing!
Heeeeeeeeeeelp me please!

I did the lentil wedges today adding a grated and juice squeezed out sweet potato to the onion for frying.

That sounds good vole3!

The lentil wedges (well loaf in our house as I don't have a 'wedge' dish) are lovely!!
Don't do what I did (on the second time) and weight your cheese, it's too much but throw it in anyway as it won't do any harm and will make it nice and cheesey. It sticks and falls apart when you try to get it out!

Forgot to ask, but do the wedges freeze OK? DS does not eat in any great quantity yet and DH is miffed at being made to finish off something healthy rather than have his usual cow pie - cows eat green things, he eats cows so doesn't have to eat green things himself

StealthPolarBear · 14/01/2008 12:40

it had better as I have a loaf full in freezer!
I don't see why it wouldn't

LOL at cows eat greens!
